Papers relating to Goodwill Plantation include copies of documents from the "Goodwill Stock Company to Goodwill Plantation," with transcriptions of transactions, ca. 1850s to 1910, with annotations and comments; historical essays include, "A Survey of Magnolia or Wavering Place," by Julie Burr; another essay, by Augustus C. Graydon, ca. 1982., reflects planning for the Columbia, S.C. bicentennial of 1986. Thirty-eight slides depict homes, out-buildings, farms, landscapes and views of the area.
